NEW MEXICO'S 1512 REPORTS
These reports contain information on jobs funded and spending from stimulus funds that flow through state government.

ABOUT SECTION 1512 REPORTING
About New Mexico's Quarterly Reports
The State of New Mexico has filed its most recent set of quarterly reports with the federal Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board, as required by Section 1512 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
These reports show that 2,767 full-time equivalent jobs were funded by the Recovery Act from January 1, 2011 through March 31, 2011.
Each of the reports filed by the State of New Mexico is available here. Each award has three tabs: prime recipient, sub-recipient, and vendor.
- A prime recipient is a non-federal entity that receives Recovery Act funding as federal awards in the form of grants, loans, or cooperative agreements directly from the federal government.
- A sub-recipient is a non-federal entity that expends federal awards received from another entity to carry out a federal program. Individuals who are a beneficiary of a program are not considered sub-recipients for reporting purposes.
- A vendor is a dealer, distributor, merchant, or other seller providing goods or services that are required for the conduct of a federal program.
These funds have provided 7,683 people with full or part-time work for the January 1 through March 31, 2011 time frame.
From February 17, 2009 to March 31, 2011, 21,782 people have received full or part-time work.
Please note that the funds required to be reported do not represent all stimulus spending in New Mexico for this time period. Also, these reports cover funds that flow through state government only. To view all spending for New Mexico, including money that does not flow through state government, visit Recovery.gov.
Jobs funded by state agency spending have been summarized in a report prepared by the New Mexico Office of Recovery and Reinvestment. View the report (pdf).
