Medicaid Stimulus Funds
Recovery Act funds for Medicaid will allow a significant number of low-income families, especially children, to continue to have access to Medicaid.
As a result of the increased federal participation in the Medicaid program, $133.3 million was saved and transferred from the Human Services Department and Department of Health budgets to the state Recovery Fund.
Additional federal Medicaid matches are tied to unemployment rate increases.
