OVERVIEW

Agency Plans and Program Plans

The New Mexico Office of Recovery and Reinvestment requires state agencies to submit plans for using Recovery Act funds. These plans include overall Agency Plans and Program Plans.

  • Agency plans include overall agency goals and objectives, processes to monitor programs and projects, and whistleblower protection, among other elements.
  • Program plans are written for each specific Recovery Act award and include goals, a summary of activities, certifications, outcome measures, and transparency and accountability measures.

Decision Briefs

Separately, the New Mexico Office of Recovery and Reinvestment must approve each state agency Recovery Act proposal, procurement methods and other items before state agencies can spend or allocate Recovery Act funds.

This process is designed to assure a fair process, equitable geographic distribution of funds, help for the disadvantaged, transparency and other issues. This vetting process is handled through the decision briefs.
